Momcat’s Signing Academy began in the Winter of 2011 offering Sign & Play Classes and Story Times for ages 0-5 based on the Baby Signing Time! and Signing Time! programs. We use American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary as a communication tool to enhance early learning.

Our classroom is located at Grosse Pointe Congregational Church in Grosse Pointe Farms with sessions typically offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
We’ve also brought programming to the Grosse Pointe Public Library, Chesterfield Township Library, Clinton Macomb Public Libraries, Farmington Public Library, Sterling Heights Public Library, Shelby Township Library, Warren Public Libraries, Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center, and worked with community organizations such as MOPS, St. John Mother Nurture Program, Beaumont Parenting Program and Alternatives for Girls.
