I began using signs when my first daughter was about 10 months old. I loved that she able to communicate with us before she was able to say a lot of words. Now, at the age of 4, she still uses signs in conjunction with her words. My step-son had a difficult time with verbal communication for several years, and I wish I would have known about Signing Time when he was younger. I love learning new signs and practicing them with my children, and I hope to share the fun and benefits of signing with families in my area.
