I am a Signing Time Academy instructor for all ages in the greater Greenville, SC area. Working with families, groups, preschools, and professionals.

I am hard of hearing (HoH) but was never introduced to ASL. As an adult, I started signing when my oldest had a speech delay and wanted a way to communicate. Signing cut down on the frustration for our son and our family continued signing. With the younger siblings, I saw them sign earlier, even at 6 months, for food but without so much crying. Additionally, I can communicate with my family, regardless of the situation, through ASL.
